Shortbread Biscuits

Shortbread Biscuits

4oz butter
2oz caster sugar
6oz flour

Beat butter and sugar together until smooth
Stir in the flour to get a smooth paste.

Roll out on a work surface until 1cm thick
Cut into rounds or fingers and place onto a baking tray.
Sprinkle with icing sugar, chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Bake for 15-20 minutes on Gas Mark 5 (190C)



Add chocolate chips or coconut to your shortbreads.
